FRANK
Yes, it was very important that I catch him.

POLICEMAN #2
(looking at Frank)
Are you serious?

FRANK
I know how it must sound, but it's not crazy. This guy knew my name. He knows something.

The POLICEMAN drops the clipboard on the desk, having lost interest in it.

POLICEMAN #2
Look, for a car to be considered stolen, you have to take reasonable precautions to safeguard it. You abandoned your car in the middle of the street for no reason, with the keys in the ignition. As far as I'm concerned, you donated your car to charity.

FRANK
It wasn't for no reason. Aren't you listening to me? This guy knows something. He knew my name, he knew about the Mesomark assay, and he knows that the mesothelioma is changing.

POLICEMAN #2
Changing? Is that right?

FRANK
Yeah. I'm not supposed to say anything, but I guess it's OK to talk to you. We think we might be looking at a mesothelioma outbreak really soon.

POLICEMAN #2
We're already looking at a mesothelioma outbreak. We have been for decades. We have the highest incidence rates in the country. And for every person who has the disease, there are five lawyers getting rich off of it. That's why the town is called Mesothelioma Lawyers, New York. It's a fucking racket, if you ask me.
