"He?" I asked.
"Well, I'm just guessing," she said, "but I have a feeling that he's going to grow up to be a hero like his daddy."
"OK, so what happened here?" I asked.
Tuck answered. "We don't really know. Maybe you can tell us. I just woke up a bit past midnight, and I felt fine. I saw the door had been knocked down, and I thought you were dead at first, but then I saw that you were breathing. And then I found that everyone else was OK too."
"Everyone?"
Milli nodded. "It's amazing, Jack. It's like the disease just reversed itself. Everyone who was infected, as long as they were still alive, they're cured now."
"Frank?" I asked.
"He's fine, we saw him earlier," Milli said. "We'll have to tell him you're OK."
"Morty?" I asked.
"He's still dead," Tuck answered. "Ivana too. A few others too, I don't know them. The cops are here and they're questioning everyone. It will take a while to conduct a full investigation, and determine everyone who was behind this."
I wondered how many other people were involved, and who they were. I also wondered how many were involved by choice and how many were just victims of demonic possession. Some people were going to need a really good lawyer.
"Now Jack," Tuck said, "I'm dying to hear - what happened after I passed out?"
