My god, Tuck thought. He was talking about a genocide of the highest order. Exterminating the human species to recreate it in the image of evil.

Morty went on. "We didn't think Jack was capable of doing the right thing by putting our movement ahead of human life. So we just left him out of the loop. But then Mrityu actually warned us about him. It was very strange; I've never known him to be so concerned about anybody before. And I still don't understand it exactly, but there's something special about Jack."

What was special about him, Tuck wondered.

Morty continued. "Anyway, that's why we needed to keep close tabs on him. We tapped his phones, monitored his accounts, and watched his movements. When you came to see him, I knew you were a threat. Although you didn't know anything specific about what was happening, I was very nervous about one thing you were on to. Would you care to guess what that is? I hinted about it earlier."

But Tuck could barely think. He remained silent.
